El mito de Luca Prodan sigue vivo en esta casa de Monserrat, ¡la última que habitó!
Luca Prodan fue el líder de Sumo, banda argentina de post-punk y reggae formada en el año 1981 en Nono, una localidad de las sierras de Córdoba, que, luego de trasladarse a Hurlingham, se hizo famosa.
La última actuación del grupo se realizó en la cancha de Los Andes, junto al grupo Los Violadores.
Los otros músicos de la banda dieron origen a dos nuevas bandas: Divididos y Las Pelotas. Algunos creen que el nombre de estos dos grupos surgió de un reportaje a Luca en el que le preguntaban si veía en un futuro a los miembros de Sumo divididos. Dicen que respondió: “¿Sumo divididos? ¡Las pelotas!”
La propiedad estuvo cerrada por más de una década hasta que se convirtió en un bar cultural en el que puede escucharse no sólo su música, sino también a bandas de las generaciones posteriores influenciadas por él.

Hoy, su presencia está viva y los mensajes escritos en la madera de la puerta de entrada son muestra de la marca que el líder de Sumo dejó en sus seguidores.

Luca Prodan was the leader of Sumo, an Argentine post-punk and reggae band formed in 1981 in Nono, a town in the hills of Córdoba, who, after moving to Hurlingham, became famous.
The band's last performance was at Los Andes' Stadium, together with the group Los Violadores.
The other musicians of the band gave birth to two new bands: Divididos and Las Pelotas. Some believe that the name of these two groups came from an interview to Luca in which he was asked if he saw in the future the members of Sumo divided. They say he replied, "Sumo divided? Las Pelotas!"(No way!)
The property was closed for over a decade until it was turned into a cultural bar where you can listen not only to his music, but also to bands of later generations influenced by him.
