Taconeando funciona desde el año 1979 cuando un 15 de agosto la cantante de tango, bailarina y actriz Beba Bidart fundó este espacio que se transformaría, con los años, en un reducto de tangueros y un clásico de la noche porteña.
Beba Bidart nació en 1924 y, como otras grandes cantantes de la época, tuvo su paso por el teatro, el cine y la televisión de manera continua hasta su muerte. Realizó grabaciones de tango con grandes orquestas, además de ser una gran bailarina de este género. Es por esto que Taconeando fue un espacio donde, además de la música, el baile siempre fue protagonista e incluso, aquellos que se animaran, podían invitar un baile a la gran Beba Bidart.
You are in Taconeando. This place has been operating since 1979, when on August 15th the tango singer, dancer, and actress Beba Bidart opened it and over the years it would become a stronghold for tango dancers and a classic of Buenos Aires nightlife.
Beba Bidart was born in 1924 and, like other great singers of the time, she performed in theater, cinema, and television continuously until her death. She made tango recordings with great orchestras, besides being a great dancer of this genre. Taconeando was a space where, besides music, dancing was always the main star and even those who dared could invite the great Beba Bidart to dance.
