El bar El Colonial es uno de los bares notables del Casco Histórico. Abrió sus puertas, a principios del siglo XX, como almacén-bar. En el año 2005, motivado por las típicas ilusiones de los inmigrantes gallegos, Juan Vazquez, comienza a gestionarlo junto a su familia.
Es un bar que permite respirar historia y dejarse llevar por el inconfundible sabor del café expreso, sandwiches con los mejores fiambres regionales, carnes de primera calidad y sentarse, por qué no, en el mismo lugar dónde lo hacían Ramiro Casasbellas y Tomás Eloy Martínez.
También fue escenario de varias películas del cine argentino, la más exitosa “Nueve Reinas”. Se encuentra ubicado frente al emblemático edificio “Otto Wolf” y contiguo a la Iglesia Presbiteriana San Andrés.
