Party in the Historic Centre

All the arts in the Streets of San Telmo

Compartir en Redes

Summer and the public space were the protagonists of last year’s FIBA, and they will be so again this year. The festival will surprise the neighbourhood of San Telmo with a performance party outside the Museo de la Ciudad. It will be an all-out celebration including music, dance, theatre and visuals in the streets of one of the oldest and most traditional areas of Buenos Aires, and the creative home for many theatre performers. The cobbled streets, low-rise houses and historical buildings will set the ideal stage for time travelling.

From 10 pm, in the historic city centre, the night will become an 80’s and slow-dance party with Regia Federala as MC and music by Carla Crespo. At the same time there will be a live performance directed by Aymara Abramovich and the main show, by Los Amados, will be staged on the balconies of Museo de la Ciudad.

During the party, the public will be able to enjoy a diverse range of experiences in some of Buenos Aires’ most iconic spaces such as Farmacia La Estrella, Librería de Ávila, the terrace of the Museo and the shop window of Arqueología Urbana. Between 6 pm and 10 pm the little ones will have the opportunity to take part in Enigma en el Museo (Mystery in the Museum), an adventure where the museum’s characters will come to life and will run away from the security guard.

*This activity includes Argentine Sign Language interpretation. Thursday 23 at 10 pm in Adolfo Alsina between Defensa and Bolívar
