Sinopsis
Antes de la pandemia había obras que se transmitían por Twitter, teatro construido con algoritmos, y distintos tipos de performance multimedia. Mientras que algunas de estas obras se pensaron como experimentales, el COVID-19 nos forzó a todos a estrenarlas de forma online, y ahora estas obras digitales están redefiniendo las ideas que teníamos del teatro, con nuevas formas de interacción y estructuras dramatúrgicas.

Erin B. Mee: Es profesora asistente de Artes en el Departamento de Teatro de Tisch, NYU. Trabajó como directora en Public Theater, New York Theatre Workshop, SoHo Rep, HERE, The Magic Theatre y The Guthrie Theater en Estados Unidos, y con Sopanam en India. Es la fundadora y directora artística de This Is Not A Theatre Company.

Synopsis
Before the pandemic, there were plays broadcast through Twitter, theater build with algorithms, and different types of multimedia performance. While some of these plays were thought of as experimental, COVID-19 has forced all of us to open them online, and now these digital plays are redefining the ideas we used to have about theater, with new forms of interaction and drama structures.

Erin B. Mee: She is Assistant Arts Professor, Department of Drama, Tisch, NYU. She has directed at the Public Theater, New York Theatre Workshop, SoHo Rep, HERE, The Magic Theatre, and The Guthrie Theater in the United States, and with Sopanam in India. She is the Founding Artistic Director of This Is Not A Theatre Company.
