He also talked about the national movie industry and confessed that his favorite films in spanish in the last years were argentineans.
When it came to his favourite cities to shoot, Alex said that he frequently shoots in Madrid because it is simpler for him but he would love to film in Bilbao which is the town that he was born in, and Helsinki because it has a lovely esthetic. Also, he said that Buenos Aires is one of his favourites because of the deepness of its avenues which gives you the chance to also show the buildings aside and gives you the possibility to shoot with long objectives, which makes everything you are shooting, more beautiful.
When he was asked if he would recommend coming to Buenos Aires to shoot, Alex answered: “Of course. The only thing we’ve had here was easiness. We are shooting in Buenos Aires Downtown, in an emblematic café and we had no problems at all. We are working wonderfully and above all I can see not only cordiality but also a love to cinema that is hard to see in other places”.
