The Audiovisual District along with the Spanish Embassy in Buenos Aires, organized a three day clinic for documentary realization, which gathered a selective group of audiovisual professionals from the City.
The Clinic was hosted by Ángels Villar, who’s the director of Parallel 40 in Colombia and executive producer of Docs Barcelona + Medellín. Parallel 40 is a platform where documentary projects can be helped to present the material in the right way to the right people. They’ve already produced more than 40 documentary films supervised by her.
The three day course was destined to producers, directors and students of documentary. The attendees were chosen among a long list of interested professionals, who had to present a project and its status of development
The main objective of these lessons were to guide participants into the first steps of directing documentaries and to give a couple of handy advises in order to develop an attractive project.
The clinic ended after sixteen hours of hard work, and very pleased participants.
This was just one of the courses the local professionals can access to in the Audiovisual District, where audiovisual professionals are given new tools and specific knowledge in order to stay competitive and stand out among professionals all over the world.
